An EMF meter (or EMF detector) is a scientific instrument for measuring electromagnetic fields.
The theory behind the EMF detectors is that spirits are made up of energy, and the meter will pick up it’s
electromagnetic field.
- Digital cameras
Digital cameras are great tools for ghost hunters.
- Infrared Thermometers
Detects temperature change
- Nightvision Camcorders
Camcorders that are able to record images in the dark to a distance of 6 feet or more.

A personal computer designed for mobile use.
